I am as passionate about music as I am about photography,
maybe even more so. If I were a great musician, I’d
be out on the road right now in a rock and roll band, touring
the planet. But I am only a mediocre musician (my college
rock band notwithstanding!) so I love to do the next best
thing: photograph performers.
I try never to use any artificial light while photographing
musicians. I feel it takes away from the mood of the performance.
I would rather have a slightly blurry photo with feeling
than a perfectly highlighted photo that looks synthetic.
With four CD covers under my belt to date, I am looking
for more! I have many stock photos available for use, and
also love to take unusual, quirky band pics for promo materials,
liner photos, etc. |
