When I was about 7 years old, I used
to imagine that I had an invisible camera. At the doctor’s
or dentist’s
office, I would pretend to take pictures of the other people
in the waiting room with this magical camera, always shooting
in black and white
and always snapping when the
people were not looking. So began my love of photography…
I have a Masters degree from Wake Forest Uni., and received
formal training in photography and darkroom techniques
from the Nikon School and the Sawtooth Center for Visual
Arts. But my true talent was honed growing up in a family
of photographers and artists, learning as I grew the beauty
and power inherent in visual art. I absolutely love photography,
and can’t imagine doing anything else at this time
in my life. |
